"Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend somewhere along in the bitterness..." - The Fray

It’s puzzling how one can be so busy for 8 months of his work and now, it all fades into boredom. After partitions were erected, the office seemed to be in an innate state of serenity and calm.

Allow my humble introduction to the 3 sopranos in the office.
The head of finances/ human resource/ etc – “Sha”
The accounts executive – “Chelle”
The customer service executive – “Siew”

One really has to wonder where (or how) they got that kind of stamina to talk at that volume and at a very high rate.

Siew has this loud voice, which makes Mariah Carey sound like a Singapore Idol contestant.

Chelle on the other hand, has this coarse-sounding tone.
And one really has to wonder if Richard Marx, Bryan Adams are her long-lost siblings.

Sha. The “hembra del numero uno” (number one female).
Her heavily Malaysian-accented broken English is delivered at an astonishing volume and velocity. You can't mess with her.

"Why?", you might foolishly ask.

Re-read: "Head of Finance"
need i say more?

"Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend somewhere along in the bitterness..." - The Fray

As life seems to pass by one second at a time, everything eventually seems to progress in a deliberate and slow motion. Let’s have a crack at breaking down time and history.
You were thrown in *pre-school/ kindergarten/ child-care (*Delete where applicable)
The first days were filled with apprehension and curiosity. Through days, months and eventually years, you’ve learnt to adapt and accept. Bonds of friendship were forged.

Then, at the end of it all, that very same bond was forced to be broken.

That very cycle is repeated through the primary, secondary and tertiary years of education. We’re living in a society that compels us to build and break amalgamations.

Someone dear to me once told me:
“ You were born onto this world alone, you’ll die alone.”

Making and breaking bonds is a conscious choice.

anonymous-

do you spend enough time with each and every family mamber and friends?

no one has time for all of them.

bonds are broken in that process

some bonds are just not meant to be. but others, the bonds will never be broken. regardless of how much or little time you spend with the person.

and you are never born into this world alone. god didn't drop you from the sky to fend for yourself. he gave you a family. when you leave, you will bereave another set of people. if you think thats just being alone, then you're plain selfish.
